Sunderland now know the key dates for next season's transfer windows after the EFL have confirmed some important dates.

The summer transfer window will open on June 14 and runs through to August 30th, slamming shut at 11pm.

The winter transfer window opens on January 1, 2025 and will close on Monday 3, February 2025 at 11pm.

The Black Cats have already been linked with a number of summer signings, with Chris Willock and Divin Mubama tipped to join the Wearsiders, while talisman Jack Clarke continues to be linked with a move away from the club after a stellar campaign.

Championship fixtures for the 24/25 season will be released on Wednesday, June 26 at 9am, with the first round of fixtures commencing on the weekend of 10/11 August 2024.

There are still several things that need to play out before the teams for next season's Championship are finalised.

The Championship Play-Offs are still at the semi-final stages with Leeds United, West Brom, Norwich and Southampton all vying for a place in the top flight.

In League One, Bolton Wanderers and Oxford United will face off at Wembley to see who will join Portsmouth and Derby in the second tier.
