Matty Hewitt and James Hunter sat down for We Are Sunderland's latest Morning Briefing to look back on the Black Cats' campaign so far, their last trip to the Hawthorns and their recent 0-0 draw with Leeds United.
Mike Dodds pulled off another tactical masterstroke, limiting Leeds to just one shot on target as Sunderland became the first side to stop the Whites from scoring at home since Sheffield Wednesday back on September 2.
The Black Cats head to the Hawthorns looking for a repeat of last season's 2-1 win over the Baggies, where a brace from Dennis Cirkin set Tony Mowbray's men on their way to the play-offs.
