Matty Hewitt sat down with Liam Bryce of the Hibs Observer for a brilliant insight into the recent loan spells of Nectar Triantis and Eliezer Mayenda.
The departures of the Sunderland duo came back on transfer deadline day back in January earlier this year.
Hibernian had been long-term suitors of Australian centre-back Triantis, given former Central Coast Mariners boss Nick Montgomery was at the helm of the Hibees this season.

While a move for the youngster earlier in the window was rebuffed, Triantis was eventually sanctioned to move north of the border.
With Hibs in desperate need of a centre-back, Triantis was brought in to fill that void, but a tough start to life at Easter Road saw a change in position for the 21-year-old. In doing so, the Australian became a key part of Hibs' starting XI in the final few games of the season.
Matty and Liam discuss all that and more, including why Mayenda's loan spell was less successful, in the podcast below.
